My slap practice routine that actually worked

After flailing for months, I built a 20-minute daily slap routine from the advanced lessons: slow ghost notes, metronome at 60, then 90, then 110. Sharing in case it helps someone stuck like I was.

Play slightly ahead of the kick, not on it — a whisper early. You become the timekeeper the band actually feels. Practice with a click and a delayed-drum loop to build that independence.
